Recently, on 9/26, a team of LPC employees was called in to assist Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County with a deconstruction of a home located on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The homeowners were razing the home and building a new one. They donated any/all interior finishes that could be salvaged and placed for sale in the H4H ReStore. The income is used to help fund the many home improvement projects that H4H completes throughout McHenry County for veterans and families in need.
During a total of 6 hours, these 6 LPC employees removed and salvaged all kitchen appliances, cabinets, counter tops, sinks, toilets, mirrors, doors, light fixtures, hot water tank, furnace and many other interior furnishings donated by the owners.
The “heavy lifting” was performed by the men (Pictured below from left to right) Arek Otocki, Jorge Alvarez, & Mario Rossi, all Kemper Engineers and Kelly Breasbois, 4Parkway North Chief Engineer. Team leader & debris hauler, Edie Scurto was assisted by Katie Chirempes, both of Kemper Lakes.
